Publish Content
Once you have completed development of your
performance support resource, you can publish your content to a
format that can be accessed, but not edited by the software
user. SHO Guide
provides a simple and easy-to-use interface for publishing your
finished content.
SHO Guide lets you specify the languages to
which you wish to publish the content.
If using video or sound in your presentation, SHO Guide
also lets you specify whether or not you wish to embed those
resources in the published file or maintain them separately so
they can be referenced when needed.
You can choose to store your published script resources
in a central repository from which a user can access them over a
network or the Internet, or you can deliver them with your
product or internal software deployment.
Unlike many forms of streaming content,
published SHO scripts are extremely compact and efficient.
The user simply performs a one-time installation of the
Transcensus SHO Player, a very light weight and unobtrusive
playback interface, and then launches the SHO script to begin
playback of the integrated step-by-step instructions.
Launch can occur from your software help system, a
browser interface, a software knowledgebase, or directly from a
user’s desktop.
