DirectPointe Signs Exclusive Partnership with Transcensus for Performance Based Learning

Salt Lake City, Utah, May 13, 2008 - DirectPointe announced today that it has signed an exclusive partnership with Transcensus. With the partnership DirectPointe will have exclusive rights to the Transcensus performance based learning platform for the technology service provider market. DirectPointe’s first use of the platform will be embedded in the CentralPointe technology platform.

Performance based learning (also known as iLearning) is a method of providing step-by-step assistance inside an application. In the past, technology users had to reference training and knowledge bases outside the application, or help menus that only tell you what to do. Transcensus’ patent pending performance based learning technology shows users what to do step-by-step while they are actually doing it with-in the application.

Teams from both companies are actively involved in embedding the performance based iLearning in the CentralPointe Server prior to its 4.3 release at the end of June.
