Downloading and Installing SHO PlayerThe SHO Player application is available as a
free download from the Transcensus website at
www.transcensus.com/pages/tour/player/. Click on the
Download SHO Player image to start the download. It is
best to save installation file to your computer in case you need
to run the installation again in the future.
After downloading the player, double-click on the sho player.exe file you saved to your computer, and follow the instructions in the installation routine. Once you have successfully installed SHO Player, the .SHO file format is registered on your computer, and you can run published SHO scripts from any source you or a system administrator have determined to be a trusted content source (see SHO Player Properties for information on trusted authors). Note: In organizations that employ more restricted permissions on local computers, the SHO Player application can be deployed through a silent or unattended installation. Contact Transcensus for more information on deployment options. Updating the InstallationPeriodically, you may want to install updates to SHO Player as they become available. There are three ways to update SHO Player.
