Comprehensive documentation is located on the Help menu of the SHO Guide product in addition to the Transcensus Folder on the Windows Start Button, Programs, Transcensus.
Don’t miss the “must have” Appendix A in the Help document which describes expected results of “click” options in recording scripts. (SHO Guide provides advanced capability when pressing <Ctrl>, <Alt> + <Ctrl>… during a mouse-click.)
SHO Guide build’s an “Entity Map,” (think of it as road map) of an applications interface and user controls. This powerful capability allows task completion directly within the application rather than through a simulation window or e-learning course. If you find an interface, object, or control, that SHO Guide does not record as you expected, work-a-round’s may include re-mapping to the parent object control of the entity map. (Sounds like software developer language, doesn’t it… Actually, a software developer will quickly understand the GUI map and may assist you in finding a solution.)
